Sępia Góra (829 m a.s.l.) is the westernmost peak of the Kamienna Ridge in the Jizera Mountains, rising above the spa town of Świeradów-Zdrój. Its highlight is a rock formation called 'Biały Kamień' ('White Rock') — a cluster of granite-gneiss outcrops rich in quartz that glitter in the sunlight in a most satisfying way.

From the summit rocks you can enjoy a lovely panorama over the Jizera Mountains and the Jizera Foothills — a peaceful, forested landscape typical of this part of the Sudetes. The terrain is gentle and the summit is wrapped in dense woodland, offering cool shade in summer, a riot of colour in autumn, and a hushed, snowy atmosphere in winter. It's a perfect destination for a relaxed hike away from the crowds.

Local legend holds that Sępia Góra was once the site of a pagan temple and a sacred grove of the Silesian Slavic tribe known as the Ślężanie — giving this quiet hilltop a wonderfully mysterious, almost mystical atmosphere.
