Ruprechticki Szpiczak (880 m a.s.l.) is a sharply defined, cone-shaped peak straddling the Polish-Czech border in the Sudetes — and it rewards every visitor with a freely accessible observation tower right at the summit. It is the highest peak in the Czech part of the Suche Mountains and the highest point in the entire Náchod district.

The mountain has a real character: steep slopes draped in spruce forest give way to a small open summit clearing, where a steel telecommunications tower built in 2002 offers panoramic views across the Central Sudetes. The state border runs just 10 metres below the summit along the northeastern slope, so you are quite literally standing at a crossroads of two countries. The Polish side falls within the Wałbrzych Landscape Park, while the Czech slopes are protected as part of the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area. In autumn the forest glows with colour; in winter a blanket of snow adds a quietly alpine feel.

• From the Polish side — green trail (border trail) running from Tłumaczów along the border towards the Okraj Pass; the peak is passed close to the route.
• From the Czech side — blue trail connecting Meziměstí with Broumov, passing directly over the summit.

• The steel observation tower at the summit has a publicly accessible viewing platform (built 2002) — free of charge.
• The summit itself lies on Czech territory; the state border crosses the northeastern slope 10 m below the top, so carry an ID document.

As the highest point in the Náchod district, Ruprechticki Szpiczak holds a quiet but genuine local title — a border peak with views that stretch well beyond any boundary.
