Roztytska (1513 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding summit in the Hryniavy massif of the Ukrainian Carpathians — wild, uncrowded, and offering sweeping views across several ridgelines. If you are looking for an off-the-beaten-path Carpathian adventure, this peak delivers exactly that.

The lower slopes are covered in dense forest, which gradually gives way to open alpine meadows — called 'polonyny' — near the top. The flanks are steep, particularly on the southern and northern sides, so expect a genuine workout. From the summit, the scenery is outstanding: to the southeast the broad ridge leads gently toward Skupova (1579 m), while to the west, beyond the valley of the Chorny Cheremosh river, the peaks of the southeastern Chornohora range come into view — Smotrych (1898 m) and Pip Ivan Chornohorsky (2028 m). The neighbouring summit of Zmiyinska (1356 m) rises to the north. Summer brings lush green meadows; autumn transforms the forests into a rich palette of colours.
