Roczenka is a peaceful, forested summit right in the heart of the Andrychów Beskids – a great pick for hikers who prefer quiet woodland trails over crowded peaks. It won't dazzle you with panoramic views at every turn, but it has its own quiet, intimate charm.

The ridges and slopes of Roczenka are almost entirely covered in forest, except for a large clearing on the southern ridge, home to the Karczówka settlement belonging to Kocierz Rychwałdzki. That's where you'll find a bit of open space and sunshine. Views from the flat summit and ridge are limited, but you can still spot the nearby Kocierz peak and the Jawornica ridge. In summer the peak is wrapped in green shade, while in winter it offers a calm, peaceful walk along forest tracks, far from the busier Beskid peaks.

History enthusiasts will appreciate the remains of WWII-era defensive fortifications still visible near the summit.

Roczenka makes a great stop along the Little Beskid Trail, connecting Kocierska Pass with Kiczora and onward to Leskowiec – perfect for those who enjoy longer, peaceful ridge walks.
