Ptasi Kamień (1,216 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the central part of the Silesian Ridge in the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains) — a place where the border between Poland and the Czech Republic runs right across the peak. It is not a dramatic high-alpine summit, but rather a peaceful retreat into genuine subalpine nature.

The summit is wrapped in dense spruce forest typical of the upper montane zone, giving it an intimate and slightly mysterious atmosphere. At the very top, a small rocky outcrop of Karkonosze granite emerges from the trees — modest but charming. In summer the forest offers cool shade, in autumn it glows with gold and amber, and in winter deep snow and frost turn the whole ridge into a fairy-tale landscape. Ptasi Kamień separates Karkonosze Pass to the east from Dołek Pass to the west, making it a natural waypoint on longer ridge hikes.
