Przykra is a modest, fully forested peak on a side ridge of the Błatnia Range, in the northern part of the Silesian Beskids. It's a place for hikers who value quiet forest trails over panoramic viewpoints — Przykra charms with its calm, slightly mysterious atmosphere.

The summit is an important ridge junction — this is where the ridges of Wielka Polana and Palenica branch off, while Przykra itself is separated from Błatnia by the Siodło pod Przykrą saddle. Dense forest covers the whole hill, and three streams — Błatnia, Jasienica, and Szeroki Potok — rise from springs at its foot. In summer the forest offers pleasant shade, in autumn it glows with color, and in winter the trail is often quiet and snow-covered — perfect for those who enjoy peaceful, solitary hikes.

How to reach the summit

• Wapienica Górna (Bielsko-Biała) — blue trail via Jezioro Wapienickie, Kopany and Wysokie, approx. 2:30 h one way (8.2 km, 560 m ascent), moderate route
• Jaworze — yellow trail via the slopes of Ostry and Wielka Polana, approx. 2:20 h one way (6 km, 510 m ascent), moderate route

Practical information

• The administrative border between Bielsko-Biała and Jaworze runs along the ridge
• At Siodło pod Przykrą, the yellow trail from Jaworze joins the blue trail continuing on to Błatnia

Although the summit itself offers no views due to the dense forest, its role as a trail and ridge junction makes it a great stepping stone on the way to Błatnia.
