Przedział (1068 m a.s.l.) is a distinctive, dome-shaped peak in the north-western part of the Silesian Ridge in the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains) — a quiet, forested summit well off the beaten track that rewards those who seek solitude among granite and spruce.

The peak rises on a lateral ridge branching north from Mumlawski Wierch. The entire massif is covered in dense forest, giving it a different character in every season — golden autumn colours, frost-covered granite in winter, and a cool green canopy in summer. To the east the slopes fall steeply into the deep valley of the Kamieńczyk stream, to the north into the valley of the Kamienna river, while to the west lies a wide, boggy peat valley of the upper Kamienna. Along the ridge running towards Babiniec you will find several interesting rock formations, including the Owcze Skały group just past the Rozdroże pod Przedziałem junction, as well as the Skalna Brama and scattered granite outcrops on the hillside.

• The peak lies within Karkonoski National Park — you must stay on marked trails at all times.
• The green trail from Jakuszyce to Hala Szrenicka runs west of the summit; the top itself is heavily forested and offers no open views.

The old German name for this peak — Scheitberg — refers to its characteristic domed shape, which sets it apart from the surrounding summits of the Silesian Ridge.
