Přivýšina (463 m a.s.l.) is the highest point of the Prachov Hills, nestled in the heart of the Bohemian Paradise — one of the Czech Republic's most beloved natural areas. It may not be a towering alpine giant, but this modest summit rewards visitors with sweeping views and a wonderfully peaceful forest atmosphere.

At the top you'll find the Václav Čtvrtek Viewpoint, a rocky outcrop that opens up a broad panorama to the south — over the town of Jičín, the Jičín Basin, and the distinctive hills of Veliš and Zebín. Look east and you'll spot the neighbouring summit of Brada; look west and the famous Prachov Rocks spread out before you. Přivýšina forms part of the Přivýšina Ridge, stretching east to west and connecting the area's natural highlights into a single satisfying hiking corridor. The trails through the forest are pleasant year-round — lush and green in summer, brilliantly colourful in autumn.

• From Jičín or the village of Brada — blue trail (Jičín – Brada – Prachov), easy, approx. 700 m on foot from Brada to the summit
• From Jinolické ponds to the north — yellow trail, easy
• From Holín to the south — yellow trail, easy
• A green triangle trail connects both yellow trails at the base and leads directly over the summit

• The Václav Čtvrtek Viewpoint at the summit is freely accessible
• By car, drive to the village of Brada on the Jičín–Turnov road; from there it is about 700 m on foot to the top

The viewpoint is named after Václav Čtvrtek, the beloved Czech author of the Rumcajs fairy tales, who drew much of his inspiration from the landscapes of Bohemian Paradise — a charming piece of local history to carry with you on the climb.
