Ostrysz (1,023 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding and accessible summit on the Gubałów Foothills, offering sweeping views of the Western Tatras and Babia Góra without demanding a strenuous climb. Its gently rounded, dome-shaped profile makes it a perfect destination for both hikers and cyclists looking for a scenic ridge walk north of Zakopane.

The summit sits on the ridge separating the villages of Dzianisz and Ciche, with open terrain along the crest that lets the views breathe in every direction. In summer the hillsides are lush and bright, in autumn the partially forested slopes turn golden, and in winter the snow-covered ridge frames a stunning backdrop of the Tatra peaks. The descent toward the neighbouring Tominów Wierch dips through a notable saddle — a drop of around 100 metres — giving the trail a little extra character and variety.
