Okrąglik (1101 m a.s.l.) is a quiet but rewarding summit in the border ridge of the Western Bieszczady Mountains, sitting right on the Polish-Slovak frontier. It serves as a key trail junction and a gateway between two worlds — the rolling Polish highlands and the wilder Slovak slopes beyond.

The summit area offers views typical of the Western Bieszczady — undulating forested ridges, open meadow ridges known as połoniny, and peaceful valleys stretching in every direction. Autumn transforms the hillsides into a palette of gold and red, while winter brings a sense of raw solitude rarely found elsewhere. The peak acts as a ridge hub: the Jasło ridge runs northwest toward Cisna, while a second spur heads southeast toward Fereczata.

• From Jasło — red trail, approx. 30 min each way, easy.
• From Cisna — red trail, approx. 4 h up / 3 h down, moderate.
• From Przełęcz nad Roztokami Górnymi — blue trail (Biała–Grybów), approx. 1 h 40 min up / 1 h down, moderate.
• From Ríaba Skała — blue trail, approx. 3 h 30 min each way, moderate.

• The peak sits directly on the Polish-Slovak border — the trail junction marked at 1101 m on maps lies on the state border, slightly below the true summit.
• Okrąglik is one of the few sites in Poland where the rare hellebore species Helleborus purpurascens has been recorded.

The mountain also carries a wartime mystery — a military aircraft crashed here during World War II under circumstances that have never been fully explained, adding an air of intrigue to an already atmospheric place.
