Mlynické Solisko (2,301 m a.s.l.) sits at the southeastern end of the Solisko Ridge in the High Tatras, a rugged peak tucked between the busier summits of the range. It's not a place you stumble upon by accident — and that's exactly what makes it special.

The peak stands between Nízka Lávka (Štrbské Solisko) and Zadné Soliskové Sedlo. Looking up from the southeast, the Furkotská Valley opens to the left and the Mlynická Valley to the right — two of the most scenic glacial valleys in the Slovak High Tatras, carved deep into granite and dotted with waterfalls. The ridgeline offers sweeping views in multiple directions, and in winter the whole area transforms into a silent, snow-covered wilderness that rewards experienced mountain-goers.

• There is no marked hiking trail leading to the summit — ascent is permitted only with a licensed mountain guide.

• A licensed mountain guide is mandatory for any ascent — independent climbing is not permitted.
• The peak lies within a restricted access zone in the Slovak High Tatras.

The first recorded summer ascent was made on 3 June 1906 by Günther Oskar Dyhrenfurth and Hermann Rumpelt, while the first winter ascent followed on 25 March 1913, achieved by Julius Andreas Hefty and Lajos Rokfalusy.
