Mariánská hora (874 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit tucked away in the Jizera Mountains of the Czech Republic. If you enjoy the stillness of dense coniferous woodland and the feeling of being truly off the beaten track, this little-known peak has a charm all of its own.

The entire hill is blanketed in coniferous forest, giving it a cool, shaded atmosphere even in the height of summer. In winter, the snow-laden spruce trees turn the area into something straight out of a fairy tale. The mountain forms part of the protected landscape area of the Jizera Mountains (CHKO Jizerské hory), so the nature here remains unspoiled and peaceful. The only other named summit nearby is Bučina (868 m), sitting just to the north.

Mariánská hora is named after the nearby village of Mariánská Hora, and this quiet corner of the Jizera Mountains has long been valued for its serene, almost meditative atmosphere among ancient spruce forests.
