Małe Jasło (1103 m a.s.l.) is a hidden gem of the Western Bieszczady, rewarding hikers with an open, grassy summit after a pleasant walk through forest. It may stand in the shadow of its neighbour Jasło, but that only adds to its quiet, unspoilt charm.

The slopes are wooded almost all the way up, but the summit zone opens up — just like on nearby Jasło — giving you unobstructed views over the rolling ridges of the Western Bieszczady. The peak sits in the middle section of a side ridge running from Okrąglik through Jasło all the way to Cisna, north of Szczawnik. The whole area falls within the Ciśniańsko-Wetlińska Landscape Park, ensuring well-preserved nature and a sense of true wilderness.

Keep an eye on the ground around the summit — Małe Jasło is one of only six locations in all of Poland where you can find the rare 'stinking hellebore' relative, the reddish hellebore (Helleborus purpurascens), a plant found in this country exclusively in the Bieszczady mountains.
