Magurki (1108 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding summit in the Gorce Mountains that offers something beyond a typical hike — a modern observation tower, sweeping clearings, and a tranquillity you won't find on busier trails. The peak sits in a side ridge of the Gorce range, nestled between the valleys of the Jaszcze and Forędówka streams. The slopes are dotted with mountain clearings — Poniechaniec, Mierędzysko and Kurnytowa Polana on the Forędówka side, Tomaśkula and Szlagowa to the northeast. The summit is largely forested, but a beautiful open clearing stretches southeast towards Borsuczyzna, framing the views perfectly. In summer it's lush and green; in autumn, the beech forests turn golden. The northeastern slopes fall within the Gorce National Park, keeping the area wild and peaceful.

The name 'Magurki' has Vlach roots — the Romanian word 'măgura' means 'a free-standing mountain massif.' On a clear day, the tower's panorama stretches beyond the Gorce and the Tatra Mountains all the way to Slovakia's Veľká Fatra range.
