The Liptov Towers are a trio of rugged rocky summits tucked away in a side ridge of Ostrá in the Slovak High Tatras. This is a spot for those craving wild, rarely visited corners of the Tatra ridgeline, far from the crowded main trails.

The towers sit on the northern section of the so-called Kozí chrbát (Goat Ridge), between Liptovská Przełączka pass to the north and Ostrá Przełączka pass to the south. Expect classic high-mountain scenery: jagged granite formations, steep slopes dropping toward the Liptov region, and views across to neighboring Ostrá. In summer the terrain is raw and demands solid route-finding skills, while in winter it turns into a genuine alpine challenge - one appreciated by early Tatra mountaineers.

The first winter ascent was made by Alfred Martin back in 1906, making these towers a historic site of early Tatra mountaineering exploration.
