Lipowski Groń is a modest yet distinctive peak in the Silesian Beskids, marking the northern end of the Równica ridge. At just 743 meters, it might not sound impressive, but it plays a key role as a junction point — ridges branch off from here toward Żarnowiec and down to Zawodzie Dolne in Ustroń, making it a handy landmark for hikers.

The summit is almost entirely covered in forest, so the walk here feels like a proper woodland escape — peaceful, shaded, and cool even on hot summer days. The steep western slopes drop toward the Vistula valley, carved by the Głębiec stream, while the southern and southeastern slopes descend into the Gościeradowiec and Żarnowiec stream valleys. It's a quiet, low-key spot — away from the crowds but still close to Ustroń, one of the region's most popular mountain resorts.
