Latiborská hoľa (1,648 m a.s.l.) is a wide open summit in the Low Tatras that delivers a full 360-degree panorama without a single tree to block the view. The summit sits in the western Low Tatras, within the Prašivá ridge, between Ďurková (1,750 m) to the east and Veľká hoľa (1,640 m) to the west. The treeless, low-vegetation summit plateau means you can see the surrounding Low Tatra peaks in every direction, as well as the Malá and Veľká Fatra ranges, the Western Tatras, the Kremnica Hills, the Chočské vrchy, the Orava Magura, the Beskydy, the Veporské vrchy and Poľana. Spring brings wildflowers to the alpine meadows, summer offers a breezy escape from the valley heat, autumn turns the surrounding forests into a sea of colour, and winter transforms the hoľa into a stark, windswept wilderness.
