Łaszczowa (627 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the Góry Bardzkie (Bardzkie Mountains), tucked away in the heart of the Central Sudetes in south-western Poland. Its domed shape and multi-directional ridge system make it a subtle but important geographical hub in the local landscape — and a rewarding off-the-beaten-path destination for walkers.

The mountain is blanketed entirely in lower montane forest — mostly spruce with a generous mix of beech and other broadleaf trees. In autumn the slopes glow with warm colours, while in summer the dense canopy offers welcome shade. The north-eastern and north-western flanks drop steeply toward the Węglówka valley, while the southern side descends gently to the Łaszczowa pass. The summit itself is indistinct, merging smoothly into the surrounding ridgeline, which gives the whole area a peaceful, unhurried atmosphere perfect for a relaxed forest walk.

• Bardo (approx. 3 km to the north) — blue trail (section of the European Long-Distance Path from Srebrna Góra to Lądek-Zdrój), running along the southern slope approximately 30 m below the summit; difficulty: moderate.

• The blue trail does not cross the exact highest point — the summit is indistinct and not clearly marked on the ground.
• This peak forms part of a European Long-Distance Trail, making it a natural waypoint on longer Sudetes trekking itineraries.

The old German name for the peak — 'Todten Koppe', meaning 'Dead Dome' — lends the mountain a touch of mystery that still sparks the imagination of passing hikers.
