Kusikówka, also known as Kozikówka, is a modest, peaceful peak in the Beskid Makowski range — perfect for a quiet escape away from the crowds. This is a place for hikers who value forest silence more than sweeping panoramic views.

The peak rises on a side ridge branching off the Koskowa Góra range, between Sołtysia Góra and Kokorzyk, overlooking the Bogdanówka valley. Its slopes are gentle and only lightly dissected — farmland and pastures cover the lower reaches, while the upper parts are cloaked in forest, broken only occasionally by small clearings. In summer it offers a calm woodland stroll under leafy cover, in autumn the forest turns golden and red, and in winter snow can transform the area into a quiet, idyllic landscape. This is a peak without crowds — ideal for those seeking a genuine connection with nature rather than a summit selfie.

The peak's name comes from the Kusikowa homestead, which climbed from the Bogdanówka valley up the southern slopes of the mountain — today it survives as the Kusikowa hamlet in Skomielna Czarna. The name Kozikówka, found on some maps, is likely a distortion of the original name.
