Kukla (564 m a.s.l.) is one of the most distinctive standalone summits in the Little Carpathians — a forested hilltop rising above the village of Dubová, just 6 km north of Modra. It rewards visitors with a charming wooden observation tower, sweeping Carpathian views, and an easy hike that's perfect for families and casual walkers alike.

The summit is blanketed in a classic Little Carpathian oak-beech forest that transforms beautifully through the seasons — fresh and bright in spring, cool and shady in summer, ablaze with colour in autumn. The narrow, elongated ridge leads to a small summit plateau where a 12-metre wooden tower, built in 2007, stands ready to lift you above the treetops. From the top you can take in a broad panorama of the Pezinok Carpathians, the striking silhouette of Červený Kameň Castle, and on clear days even distant mountain ranges. On the western slope, the 25-metre rock face known as Čertove zuby ('Devil's Teeth') is a popular spot for beginner climbing practice. At the southern foot of the hill lies the Fúgelka recreation centre and chalet area.
