The surrounding landscape is quintessential Bavarian Forest — dense spruce woodland, gentle terrain and a calm that feels worlds away from the tourist crowds flocking to nearby Arber or Silberberg. In winter the hill transforms into a snow-covered retreat, while summer brings cool green shade and birdsong. Precisely because it is less famous, Kronberg offers something increasingly rare: a summit almost entirely to yourself.
