Kopina is a modest but charming peak in the middle section of the Lasocki Ridge in the Karkonosze Mountains — a great pick for hikers who want peace and quiet away from the crowded main trails of the range.

The summit and slopes are fully forested, so don't expect wide panoramic views from the top itself — this is a spot for lovers of quiet woodland rather than sweeping vistas. The mountain is built of metamorphic rocks, mainly greenstones, part of the eastern cover of the Karkonosze granite. Side ridges branch off from Kopina — one heading northeast towards Owczarka, Pańska Góra, Zagórze, Książęca Kostka and Przednia, and a less distinct one heading east towards Kopczyk. In summer the forest offers pleasant shade, autumn brings vivid colours, and winter turns the trails quiet and snowy, adding to the atmosphere.
