Konské (1,889 m a.s.l.) sits right on the main ridge of the Low Tatras, squeezed between the two highest peaks of the range — Ďumbier and Chopok. It is the kind of summit that rewards you with a sweeping 360-degree panorama without demanding the most technical approach, making it a favourite for ridge-walkers and trail runners alike.

The terrain is classic Low Tatras: open grassy ridgelines dotted with rocks, giving an alpine feel without the crowds of more famous neighbours. On a clear day the view stretches to the High Tatras, Malá Fatra, Oravská Magura, the Beskyds, Kremnické Vrchy and even the distant Veporské Vrchy to the south. Summer brings wildflower meadows and long daylight hours; autumn turns the slopes to gold and delivers the sharpest visibility; in winter the ridge becomes a dramatic snowbound traverse for experienced hikers on snowshoes or skis.
