Klínový vrch (979 m a.s.l.) is a rugged, off-the-beaten-path summit in the central Jizera Mountains of northern Czechia, offering wild granite scenery and a refreshing lack of crowds. If you love discovering places that feel genuinely unspoiled, this one is sure to win you over.

The peak rises as a clearly defined ridge within the Middle Ridge (Střední hřbet) area, east of the Czech village of Bílý Potok. Its western slopes are notably long and steep, while the summit and surrounding hillsides are scattered with granite rock formations, boulders, and scree. The most famous of these are Pytlácká skála right at the top and the striking Paličník on the western flanks. The entire massif is built from porphyritic Krkonoše granite, giving the rocks their distinctive texture and colour. In summer the forests are lush and the air carries the scent of mountain pines; in autumn the hillsides glow with warm tones that make every photo effortless.
