Juhaska Turnia is a rugged rock tower in the Western Tatras that belongs to climbers rather than casual hikers — a wild, uncompromising piece of mountain terrain with real character. It sits along the ridge of Długi Giewont, between Juhaska Przehyba and Szczerbinka.

On its southern side, the peak drops in a rock wall of several dozen metres down to Wielki Upłaz in the Kondratowa Valley, while to the north it sends down the striking Juhaski Filar (Juhaska Pillar), plunging into the Banie gully in the Strążyska Valley. This is a serious climbing area — steep, rocky, and demanding technical skill and Tatra experience. The atmosphere here is raw and remote, worlds away from the crowds of the marked hiking trails, offering a genuine sense of high-mountain wilderness.

• No marked hiking trail exists — access is only via climbing routes up the Juhaski Filar from the Banie gully, difficulty III–V+ on the UIAA scale, requiring climbing experience and proper equipment
• The area is also accessible from the Kondratowa Valley side (the wall above Wielki Upłaz) — climbers only

• No full summer ascent of the entire pillar has been recorded to date — the terrain remains a challenge even for experienced climbers
• The hard-to-reach Juhaska Cave (Juhaska Grota) lies on the eastern wall of the Juhaski Filar
• Climbing here requires solid knowledge of the Western Tatras and technical preparation — not a place for beginners

An interesting detail concerns access to the Juhaska Cave — according to Władysław Cywiński, unknown persons installed reinforcement bars on the wall to make reaching it easier, a fact that still stirs debate among Tatra climbers.
