Jaworzyna (825 m a.s.l.), also known as Dzikasowa Góra, is a quietly charming peak in the Solniska Ridge of the Beskid Makowski range, straddling the boundary between the villages of Lachowice and Stryszawa in the Lesser Poland region of southern Poland. It may not be the tallest summit around, but it rewards visitors with peaceful forest trails, open ridge views and a surprising historical gem hidden along the way.

The peak sits between Solniska (849 m) to the north and Góra Wojewodowa (656 m) to the south. Its western slopes descend into the Lachówka valley while the eastern flanks drop toward the Stryszawka valley — both largely blanketed in forest that offers cool shade in summer and a magical snowy cover in winter. The ridge connecting Jaworzyna with Solniska opens up into the small settlement of Wsiarz, where meadows and homesteads create a natural viewpoint over the surrounding Beskid ridges. Autumn brings a spectacular golden canopy of beech trees, while spring transforms the hillsides into a vivid fresh green — every season has its own mood here.
