Jaworowy Grzbiet is a short, wild ridge in the Western Tatras, known mainly to experienced mountaineers and winter off-trail explorers. It branches south from Suchy Wierch Kondracki and drops steeply into Dolina Cicha, offering a raw, avalanche-shaped landscape rarely seen on popular routes.

The ridge is a mix of dwarf mountain pine, scree and grassy patches, flanked on both sides by steep slopes descending into Dolinka Rozpadła and Jaworowy Żleb. Massive avalanches regularly sweep down these gullies, scouring them down to bare rock and destroying the forest below — an impressive sight, especially in spring when the scale of destruction is visible. In summer the area feels quiet and remote, while in winter the ridge takes on real practical importance.

Along the way you pass distinctive points: Wyżnie Jaworowe Siodło, Jaworowa Kopa, Niżnie Jaworowe Siodło, and Jaworowe Skałki, also known as Turnia nad Jaworem.

The names of the saddles and Jaworowe Brdo were introduced into mountaineering literature by Władysław Cywiński himself, making this a fascinating stop for fans of Tatra toponymy.
