Husycka Górka is a modest but charming hill tucked right in the heart of the Karkonosze Intra-Mountain Depression, close to Karpacz. It's a great pick for travelers who want a peaceful walk away from the crowds while still soaking up the atmosphere of the Karkonosze forests and streams.
The summit sits between Karpacz Górny and Płóczki, bordered on the west and north by the Dziki Potok stream, whose gentle rush accompanies hikers along much of the route. Built of Karkonosze granite, the hill is covered in forest that offers pleasant shade in summer and bursts into color come autumn. In winter, the area turns into a quiet, snow-covered corner perfect for a peaceful snowshoe walk, far from the crowded trails leading up to Śnieżka.
How to reach the summit
Husycka Górka is well worth a detour from the main Karkonosze trails — quiet, lightly trodden and full of charm, with the Dziki Potok stream murmuring in the background as a natural guide through the area.
