Humrich (513 m a.s.l.) is a peaceful forested summit in the Frýdlant Highlands of northern Bohemia, tucked between the villages of Bulovka and Horní Řasnice. What makes it stand out is a surprising rocky ridge hiding at the very top — a little secret reward for anyone who makes the easy walk up through the beech woods.

The summit ridge stretches about ten metres in length and rises up to six metres high, carved from coarse-grained Zawidów granite and covered in cracks, overhangs and grooves that give it a rugged character. The surrounding beech forest creates a sheltered, quiet atmosphere — views to the west are largely blocked by the trees, but the woodland itself is the real attraction, especially in autumn when the beeches turn gold and amber. In spring the forest floor comes alive with fresh greenery, making Humrich a rewarding destination in any season.

Three streams are born on the slopes of Humrich: Bulovský potok rises on the northern flank, Řasnice on the north-eastern side, and Arnoltický potok flows from marshy ground to the south-west — a modest hill with a surprisingly generous hydrological legacy.
