Hon (820 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forested peak in the Western Bieszczady Mountains of Poland, marking the southeastern end of the Wysoki Dział ridge. It may not be the most dramatic summit around, but it sits right on the famous Main Beskid Trail and offers a cosy mountain hut just below the top — making it a rewarding stop on a longer hike.

The peak rises above the villages of Majdan and Cisna, both nestled in the Solinka river valley. Dense forest covers the slopes almost all the way to the summit, so panoramic views are limited — but the woodland atmosphere is peaceful and typically Bieszczady in character. In winter, the northeastern slope comes alive with a small ski run, while summer hikers pass through as part of the long-distance red trail crossing the entire Bieszczady range.

• The mountain hut 'Bacówka Pod Honem' is located on the northeastern slope at 663 m a.s.l., open since 1986 — a great place to rest or stay overnight.
• A ski lift with a 700 m run and 130 m vertical drop operates near the hut in winter.
• The peak lies within the Ciśniańsko-Wetlińskie Landscape Park.

Hon is also known locally as 'Wierch nad Majdanem' — 'the peak above Majdan' — a traditional name that reflects the steep southern slope dropping directly towards that small Bieszczady village.
