Harrachovy kameny (1421 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding summit in the Czech part of the Giant Mountains, offering a genuine subalpine feel without the crowds of the main ridge. A cluster of granite rocks crowns the top, surrounded by mountain meadows and dwarf pine scrub stretching in every direction.

The peak sits in the Czech Ridge, flanked by Kotel to the southwest and Krkonoš to the southeast. Its southern face drops sharply into the glacial cirque of Kotelní jáma, giving the summit a bold, wild edge. To the north, the wide plateau of Labská louka opens up. In summer the meadows are lush and green, perfect for relaxed ridge walking, while winter transforms the area into a quiet touring destination away from the busy ski slopes.

The entire massif falls within the Krkonoše National Park (KRNAP), ensuring pristine nature and clean mountain air throughout the year.

Those pre-war concrete bunkers scattered across the slopes are a fascinating reminder of history — built in the late 1930s to defend Czechoslovakia's borders, they now stand quietly among the dwarf pines, reclaimed by nature.
