Groniczki (833 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the Magurka Wilkowicka Group of the Beskid Mały mountains in southern Poland — a perfect escape for hikers who love the calm of ancient woodland and trails free of crowds. It sits on the main ridge of this small mountain group and forms one of the highlights of the popular Little Beskid Trail.

The entire summit is blanketed in mixed forest, giving Groniczki a distinctly intimate, green atmosphere. Among the trees you will find very old sycamore maples, and the undergrowth hides foxglove — a plant that is quite a rare sight in this part of the Beskids. The southern slopes form a broad, deep hollow from which the stream Żarnówka Duża springs to life. The ridge also marks the administrative boundary between two counties — Bielsko and Żywiec — so with each step you are crossing between them. In autumn the forest turns gold and amber; in spring it echoes with birdsong. There is something to enjoy here in every season.

A small historical footnote: at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, German tourist publications listed this summit under the name 'Hanslik' — a reminder of the region's rich, multicultural past.
