Gromadzyń is a modest but charming peak in the Sanok-Turka Mountains, right above the town of Ustrzyki Dolne — a great pick for a short hike when you don't have a full day but still want a dose of mountain air and views over the Bieszczady region. It's the kind of summit you can climb straight from town in an afternoon.

The peak forms the northwestern culmination of the small Równia ridge, stretched between the valleys of the Strwiąż, Jasieńka, Hoszowczyk, and the Olcha stream. The terrain is gentle with no dramatic climbs, making it a great choice for families and anyone looking for an easy walk. In winter, the northeastern slope comes alive with the Gromadzyń Ski Station and its five drag lifts, so you can combine a walk with some skiing. In summer and autumn, the mountain offers peaceful quiet, broken only by the rustle of the forest — a perfect spot to escape the noise.

How to reach the summit

• Ustrzyki Dolne — blue trail (part of the Rzeszów–Grybów route), approx. 1-1.5 h, easy
• Ustrzyki Dolne — yellow circular walking path, full loop takes 2 h, easy
