St. Anne's Mountain (593 m a.s.l.) is one of the most charming summits in the Krzeszów Hills of the Central Sudetes. It combines the pleasure of a forest walk with centuries of pilgrimage history and the quiet atmosphere of the Sudeten borderlands — a perfect half-day trip from the town of Krzeszów.

The summit and most of the surrounding slopes are covered in spruce forest, which fills the air with resin in autumn and turns into a silent, snow-draped landscape in winter. The western slopes descend gently toward Krzeszów, giving way to open meadows. To the southeast, Góra Ziuty — the highest peak in the entire range — rises above the treetops.

• Krzeszów — red trail (Main Sudeten Trail named after Mieczysław Orłowicz, heading toward Grzędy) — difficulty: easy to moderate

• On the western side of the summit stands a Baroque chapel of St. Anne dating from 1623, rebuilt by the local community of Krzeszów in the 2010s — well worth a stop on your hike.
• Below the chapel, three roadside shrines survive as remnants of the old pilgrimage route from Krzeszów.

The mountain is built from Upper Cretaceous glauconitic sandstones, giving the rock a warm, distinctive hue typical of this part of the Sudetes. The pilgrimage tradition connected to St. Anne's chapel stretches back nearly four hundred years, making every step on this trail a walk through living history.
