Gibasówka (842 m a.s.l.) is a charming summit in the Beskid Mały range in southern Poland, known for its wide open meadow, sweeping views and a cosy mountain shelter waiting at the top. It is the kind of place you want to linger at rather than just pass through.

The summit and the nearby saddle known as Gibasowe Siodło are covered by the large Gibasy meadow — open, sunny and rewarding with panoramic views stretching both to the south and to the north across the surrounding ridges. In spring the meadow bursts with fresh greenery, in summer it is a perfect sunny rest stop, and in autumn the surrounding forests frame it in warm golden tones. Do not miss the striking rock outcrop on the western ridge — a three-metre boulder made of conglomerate with a sandstone vein, a small geological curiosity well worth a closer look.

The name of the peak and the meadow comes from the local surname Gibas — for generations, locals simply called both nearby summits 'the Gibasy', and their official distinction was only established in 1981 by the Mountain Tourism Commission of the PTTK branch in Wadowice.
