Garniec is a modest but charming summit in the central part of the Suche Mountains, right in the heart of the Kamienne Mountains. It's a great pick for hikers looking to escape the crowds of the more popular Sudeten peaks while soaking in the atmosphere of a wild spruce forest.

The hill is covered with lower montane spruce forest mixed with beech, giving it a cozy, woodland character all year round. In spring and summer the forest feels alive with green, autumn brings golden beech colors, and in winter, blanketed in snow, it offers a quiet, raw kind of beauty. Garniec is built of Permian porphyries (latites), making it interesting for geology enthusiasts too. The entire area lies within the Wałbrzych Sudetes Landscape Park, so you can expect largely untouched nature.
