Dancer (also known as Dantsizh) is one of the summits of the Chornohora massif in the Ukrainian Carpathians, standing at 1855 m a.s.l. Sitting on the border of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia oblasts, it offers a genuine taste of wild Carpathian alpine meadows — far from the crowds, rich in rare flora and sweeping ridge views.

The peak sits between Pozhyzhevska (1822 m) to the northwest and Turkul (1933 m) to the south, making it a natural waypoint on the classic Chornohora ridge route. The western slopes descend into the scenic Ozirny tract. The landscape is quintessentially Carpathian — wide open grassy polonyny with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. In spring and summer the slopes burst with colour, while autumn turns the high meadows golden.

The slopes of Dancer are home to several rare and protected plant species, including serrate bellflower (Campanula serrata), Carpathian fescue (Festuca carpatica), Carpathian hogweed (Heracleum carpaticum), and white pasqueflower (Pulsatilla alba) — making this summit as rewarding for nature lovers as it is for hikers chasing ridge views.
