Czupel (736 m a.s.l.) is a distinctly pointed peak along the main ridge of the Błatnia Range in the Silesian Beskids. Its very name tells you what to expect — in the local Beskid dialect, czupel means a mountain with a sharp summit. It is a wonderfully quiet spot, perfect for a relaxed hike away from the crowds.

The peak is entirely covered in forest, which gives it a different feel with every season. Summer brings cool shade on the trails, autumn wraps the slopes in warm colours, and winter turns the whole ridge into a silent, snow-dusted world. The southwestern slopes drop down toward the Brennica valley, while the northeastern side descends toward Jasienica. On the southern and southwestern flanks you can spot the remains of old quarries, now slowly being reclaimed by the forest — a charming industrial relic hidden among the trees.
