Czuba nad Uboczą is one of those High Tatra summits that quietly rewards those willing to look beyond the popular trails. Rising to approximately 1630 m (marked as 1643.8 m on official maps), it sits along the long north-eastern ridge of Szpiglasowy Wierch — a rugged and atmospheric corner of the Polish Tatras above the Roztoka Valley.

The peak occupies a spot between the junction point for Orla Ściana (1620 m) and Równia nad Kępą (1683 m). Its north-western face drops away as a near-vertical wall of about 40 metres, then continues as a steep slope thick with dwarf pine, Swiss stone pine and spruce — the wild, untamed face of the Roztoka Valley. On the south-eastern side, the terrain softens into grassy slopes known as Uboczas, part of Opalone, with views stretching towards the Rybi Potok Valley. Midway down this gentler slope, hidden in the forest, lies the little meadow called Polanka pod Uboczą, though it is slowly being reclaimed by the surrounding trees.
