Bukowa (755 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the south-eastern part of the Rudawy Janowickie range in Lower Silesia, Poland — a perfect escape for anyone craving a peaceful hike away from the crowds. Its wooded slopes and gentle terrain make it welcoming for hikers of all levels.

The mountain is draped in spruce forest mixed with beech and birch, casting deep shade in summer and glowing with colour in autumn. Bukowa sits on a ridge spur running eastward from the main Rudawy Janowickie crest, with the valley of the Żywica stream and the village of Czarnów lying to the south. The whole area falls within the Rudawy Janowickie Landscape Park, so expect unspoilt nature and a calm, unhurried atmosphere throughout the year.

• Czarnów (Żywica valley) — blue trail, easy, convenient starting point from the south.
• Skalnik or Wilkowyja — blue trail (European Long-Distance Path E3, Skalnik – Kamienna Góra), ridge walk, moderate difficulty.
• Bukowiec or Szarocin — red trail (Dr Mieczysław Orłowicz Main Sudeten Trail) runs along the south-western slopes, easy to moderate.

• Bukowa lies entirely within the Rudawy Janowickie Landscape Park — follow the park's nature protection rules during your visit.
• The blue trail crossing the summit is part of the pan-European long-distance hiking route E3.

The mountain's name means 'Beech Mountain' in Polish, and its old German name Laubberg ('Leafy Mountain') tells the same story — a detail that perfectly captures the character of this lovely, tree-covered hill. Autumn is arguably its finest season.
