Barnasiówka (566 m a.s.l.) is the highest point of the Barnasiówka Range in the Wieliczka Foothills of southern Poland — a peaceful, forest-covered summit that rewards visitors with a gentle, unhurried walk rather than dramatic panoramas. The Barnasiówka Range runs roughly east–west and is remarkably even in profile, with the summits barely rising above the ridgeline. The peak itself is modest and completely wooded, as are all its slopes. The southern flanks descend into the Bysinka valley near Bysina, while the northern ridge separates the valleys of two streams flowing into the Głogoczówka river. Spring brings birdsong and fresh green, summer offers welcome shade, and autumn transforms the beech and hornbeam forests into a warm palette of gold and amber.

Here is a curious detail: while official maps label this peak 'Barnasiówka' — a name traced back to a field on its southern slopes, first recorded on Kummersberg's map of 1855 — local people have always called it 'Dalin'. In 1981, the Mountain Tourism Commission of the PTTK officially recognised 'Dalin' as the correct name. So when you stand on this summit, you are standing on a peak with two identities.
