Andrejcová (1,520 m a.s.l.) is one of the most rewarding summits in the Low Tatras — a broad, open mountain ridge offering sweeping views and a genuine sense of wilderness. It sits on the main ridge of the Kráľovohoľské Tatry range and is crossed by the legendary Cesta hrdinov SNP, Slovakia's longest hiking trail.

The section of ridge stretching from nearby Helpiansk Hill all the way to Ždiarske Saddle is widely regarded as the most beautiful stretch of the entire Low Tatras main ridge. Scattered patches of forest alternate with open alpine meadows, giving you ever-changing views southward to the Muránska Plateau and, on clear days, as far as the High Tatras, Western Tatras, Poľana volcano, and the Vepor and Stolické Hills. The Horehron valley below adds a warm, inhabited feel to the landscape. In summer the meadows are lush and inviting; in late autumn and winter the ridge takes on a raw, silent character that appeals to more seasoned hikers.

• From the west — from Zadná Hoľa via the red-marked trail (Cesta hrdinov SNP) through the Priehyba and Priehybka saddles — moderate difficulty.
• From the east — from Kráľova Hoľa via the red trail through Ždiarske Saddle — moderate difficulty.
• From the south — from the village of Pohorelá via the blue trail, passing the Andrejcová shelter — moderate difficulty.
• From the northeast — from Liptovská Teplička via the blue trail through Budnárka — moderate difficulty.

• The peak lies within the Low Tatras National Park.
• A log cabin mountain shelter (útulňa Andrejcová) stands in the saddle just west of the summit at approximately 1,410 m a.s.l. — a great rest stop, with a drinking water spring nearby.
• The summit sits on the regional border between the Prešov and Banská Bystrica regions.

The ridge between Helpiansk Hill and Ždiarske Saddle is considered the scenic highlight of the Kráľovohoľské Tatry — if your legs allow, walk the whole stretch rather than just tagging the summit.
